Kakashi brought a book
to a lesson about paying attention.
Everybody else seems to have urgent ninja business. Kakashi has brought a book. The red cover beside the mask tells you a lot about this figure before the weapon or effects get a turn. I followed that relaxed pose back to a teacher who was paying rather more attention than he appeared to be.

The students were taking a different test.
Kakashi’s first survival exercise with Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura is testing teamwork and whether they value their companions. The official Naruto retrospective makes that purpose clear. Individual ability matters, but the students cannot solve the lesson just by trying to outperform one another.
That gives the distracted-looking teacher the advantage. They are busy proving what they can do. He is looking for how they behave together. The book makes his apparent lack of urgency almost insulting, which is why it works so well as an accessory.
Put the other figures into determined poses and let Kakashi keep reading. A small red rectangle can do more for that scene than another large blast effect.
The covered eye keeps another teammate close.
Kakashi’s left Sharingan came from Obito. In the Kannabi Bridge story, Obito gives it to him after Kakashi loses that eye. The detail behind the covered side of the face carries an earlier team into the life of someone now responsible for another one.
That changes the mood of the figure for me. The eye is powerful, but it is also a connection to a person. The relaxed teacher has more behind the mask than the current lesson.
The gallery shows different head and face configurations. Covered, the eye lets the unhurried reading pose lead. Uncovered, it pulls the attention back to what Kakashi can do. Both choices belong to the same character.

Sasuke’s lightning has a teacher.
Kakashi teaches Sasuke Chidori during the training before the Chunin Exam finals. That relationship is worth remembering when their blue effect pieces end up near each other. The resemblance has a story behind it.
I would still start with the book. There are plenty of figures ready to demonstrate how dangerous they are. Kakashi can leave everybody waiting for a page turn.
