Character studies · Starscream
Starscream can keep the wings.
The story underneath can change.
Starscream usually arrives wings first. These two Blokees figures carry the familiar red, grey and blue, but their labels point in different directions: an animated origin film and a newer comics universe where even the Decepticon leadership is up for a fight.

A film version needs its own outline.
Transformers One gives Starscream a specific animated setting, with Steve Buscemi named in Paramount’s cast. The CC16 figure has wings rising behind the shoulders, a narrow waist and long lower legs. The red centre pulls the eye in before the grey wing panels make the outline much wider.
I would give those wings room rather than push the figure into the middle of a crowded row. They make him look as though he intends to address everyone present, invited or otherwise. That is a reading of the photograph, not a hands-on claim about the joints.

The comic label has a story behind it.
Energon Universe refers to the Image and Skybound comics setting that began in 2023. It is not the older Transformers: Energon television series. The publisher’s description for Transformers #7 sets Starscream against Soundwave for Decepticon leadership. That is a more revealing bit of context for CC29 than simply saying it has a comic logo: this version is tied to a world in which his position is contested.
The CC29 catalog photograph is an approval-stage exhibition arrangement. Starscream stands among other display pieces, so the photograph helps identify the grey wings, red torso and blue legs. It does not tell us that the neighbouring figures are in his retail box.
Put the two names together and they become a reminder that a familiar silhouette can serve separate story worlds. The colours provide continuity for the eye; the film and comic labels tell us where to begin reading each figure.
Wings first, then the full name.
Neither product photo establishes a transforming mechanism for these building figures. I would collect them as two robot interpretations and keep their source labels close. The wings announce Starscream; the rest of the name explains which Starscream has turned up.
